Description here of what the event is about.
What is WordCamp London?
WordCamp London is a community volunteer organized WordPress event running for the fourth year since 2013. It’s aimed at anybody who uses, builds or simply has an interest in WordPress; including bloggers, designers, developers, and end-users. We warmly welcome all levels of experience from beginners through to professionals and all ages.
With three tracks over two days, WordCamp London ensures there is ample opportunity for all WordPress lovers to come together to share knowledge and discuss ideas; as well as a third day where attendees can kindly volunteer their time to contribute back to the project, and meet with the other likeminded people who make WordPress incredible.
We also host an official social for all the attendees between the two conference days and sponsorship/budget pending; we aim to have lovely swag for our participants to take home.

It’s time for the ULTIMATE HOT DOG CHAMPIONSHIP!
You may have thought hot dogs were only for the summer time. But then again, you may have thought hot dogs should only have ketchup. Bah! The hot dogs you will be tasting are GOURMET CREATIONS, crafted by searching high and low for the ultimate hot dog recipe concoctions, with just a touch of Danish perfectionism and of course our COPENHAGEN STREET DOG.
You vote for the creations at Jimmy’s No. 43, and DECIDE THE ULTIMATE WINNER of the Winter Hot Dog Championship.
Let’s be real: for most, the blissfully ignorant days of loving the classic American hot dog are over. Because, well, we just don’t know what’s in those things. But rather than picking up an impostor in the health food aisle, why not turn to Denmark: a country equally enamored with traditional casual sausages.
The difference between the two? The Danish pølse, as it’s called, is made up of natural pork (mixed with spices like nutmeg and cardamom), stuffed into a natural lamb casing and smoked over beech wood. (And, they actually snap with your first bite.)
Welcome to Mountain Creek Resort

Avg. rainfall: 3.80”
Elevation: 571 ft
Avg. finish time: 5+ hours

The OCR World Championships is an annual world-class event where the best obstacle course racers in the world gather and compete for the title of World Champion. Participants in the OCR World Championships are required to qualify for the event at races designated by the OCRWC Competition Committee as Qualifying Races.
The OCRWC is privately owned and funded. It is not in any way affiliated with any other race series, but rather is a singular, agnostic event created to unify, promote, and increase participation in the sport of OCR while celebrating the athletes that drive its growth and level of athleticism.
Participants are required to provide proof of results at the time of registration. Entry into the OCRWC is strictly limited.
The OCR World Championships is the first truly independent global championship for the burgeoning sport of Obstacle Course Racing. It is a singular, agnostic event created to unify, promote, and increase participation in the sport of OCR while celebrating its amazing athletes and community.
Athletes can qualify to compete in the OCRWC based on his/her performance at specific Qualifying Races. Participants are required to provide proof of results at the time of registration. Entry into the OCRWC is limited issued to qualified athletes on a first come, first served basis. Spots will be limited.
Competition at the OCR World Championships is broken down into the following divisions:
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION (ELITE)
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION (AGE GROUP)
- Male: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+
- Female: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+
JOURNEYMAN & JOURNEYWOMAN
*This is for the veterans of OCR! Qualification for this division is not results-based. To qualify as a Journeyman/woman, athletes must complete at least four obstacle course races (including Tough Mudders) after October 25th, 2014 and prior to the OCRWC. The number of spots in this division is strictly limited.
Team Racing for the 2015 OCRWC will introduce an entirely new concept in Obstacle Course Racing: Specialization.
In this year’s event, teams will consist of three athletes, racing in relay format, on a course specially designed course in four separate legs – each one targeting a key discipline of OCR: speed, strength, technique, and teamwork.
Athletes are encouraged to strategically devise teams based on these key disciplines. For example, the ideal team may consist of a running specialist for the running leg, a stronger athlete for the strength based obstacles leg, and an obstacle specialist for the technical obstacle leg.
The following divisions are available:
• Elite Men (Cash Prize)
• Elite Women (Cash Prize)
• Open Men
• Open Women
Additionally, similar to 2015, there is no qualification requirement for the Team Competition and will take place on Sunday, October 18.
PROOF OF RESULTS & ACCEPTANCE
All athletes are required to submit proof of results at the time of registration. Acceptance into the OCRWC is granted only after verification by OCRWC officials.
Come face your fears on this massive, mud-coated maze of a course built upon Florida’s natural, diverse landscape. Just miles from the beach and stretching over 12 square miles on the east side of the St. John’s River, this expansive, raw landmass has a post-apocalyptic feel that will make you feel like you’re starring in an action movie.
